Sarah Ford

Sarah Ford (she/her) is a first-year MA student in Communications studies at McGill University. Sarah completed her undergraduate degree at McGill in English: Cultural Studies, with minors in Art History and Communications. She also completed an internship with Rotating Planet Productions, a Montreal-based production company specializing in documentary film around wildlife and climate-related issues.

Under the supervision of Darin Barney, Sarah’s MA thesis will focus on environmental documentary, and how the genre is expanding and changing with the convergence of heightened environmental awareness and emerging media forms.
